If you are a fan of Studio Ghibli, this creation has been made for you! Inspired by the Japanese anime film ‘Princess Mononoke’ this special piece houses 3 handmade Kodama inhabiting a whimsical world of everlasting life. 
 
Kodama are spirits in Japanese folklore that inhabit trees, embodying the spirit and health of the trees in the forest. They are represented as cute, joyful beings as long as ancient forests are protected and respected.
 
This piece showcases the natural beauty of real preserved botanicals, all carefully grown, preserved and arranged by Ladyfern. Inside you will find a mix of both native Australian and exotic flowers as well as gumnuts and fascinating lichen fragments ethically collected from tree prunings on the Ladyfern family farm.
 
Raw pyrite (a mineral with the appearance of gold) has also been included. Pyrite is said to be a stone of protection, confidence, and attracting abundance.
 
Another symbolic inclusion are the monarch butterflies. Monarch butterflies act as a symbol of rebirth, transformation, hope, and resilience, particularly resonating in these testing environmental times.
 
All floral components inside are entirely real and have been carefully grown, selected and preserved without the use of artificial dyes.
 
Artistically set inside a glass dome with a wooden base, this creation will keep as is with no maintenance required. 
 
Though some fading and light shedding may occur over time, to prolong the colours and protect the components, keep the glass cover on and place away from direct sunlight.
